My career has spanned over the Finance and Real Estate industries for the last 20 years.
I was a successful options trader on the American and Philadelphia Stock Exchanges. This was one of the most fast paced and exciting times of my career, but after the September 11th attacks and some deep soul searching, I decided to relocate to Dallas in 2004 to join Wizetrade as the Chief Operations Strategist.
Over the last decade, I've traveled across the world educating small and large groups on personal finance and real estate. My work has been featured in dozens of industry publications. I was fortunate enough to win an Emmy for my publications and groundbreaking production team, "Trader Cast."
After several years contributing to several TV networks, in 2009, I was asked to join the CNBC "Fast Money" cast. Since, I've also been a regular on Bloomberg, FOX, FOX Business, CNN, CNN Radio, Wall Street Journal Radio and several others. The Wall Street Journal and Yahoo Finance regularly quote my weekly research.
I've published two best-selling books on Finance and am in the process of writing another centered on Real Estate and how it is an integral, but often underutilized part of our investment portfolio.
I'm a licensed private pilot and plane owner…I enjoy flying immensely and love last minute trips to towns you never heard of!
I am also a total geek, fascinated with economics, statistics and game theory.
When my nerd hat is off, I spend a great deal of time riding, restoring and racing motorcycles and unique cars. I am also a huge supporter of the Dallas Arts community both performing and visual.
My real passion though has always been People; specifically helping those around me see the potential in their biggest asset, their Home.
During my early days in real estate, I specialized in warehouse and factory condo conversions in Philadelphia and New York City which gave me an unique framework in my later years helping to reshape communities from Uptown to Bishop Arts. My forte was the ability to see the finished product amidst these tattered and vacant buildings that would eventually become some of the most desirable urban properties.
With decades of experience buying, selling, developing and consulting in the marketplace, I've developed an intimate knowledge of all perspectives of the process. I wanted to impart this expertise and passion to the people in and around my community and help them make the most of these sometimes-complex transactions and assist them in selecting the best choice using both emotion and factual data.
I come from a very modest background and share that humility and understanding in everything I do. I suppose my end goal is to leave the world a little better than when I came into it.
